Mobile Library Empty
PostSubject: Mobile Library   Mobile Library EmptySun Feb 22, 2009 7:46 am

Hello all, I finally escaped the hospital today (a 4 day stay turned into a 9 day stay...ugh!!)
Glad to be back home, but now the work begins. Our house is in fine shape but the olives, vines and orchard are all cactus. I am blessed that that is all I have to whinge about.

Kate and David managed to get the Mobile to Buxton last week, and will continue to do so until we can offer the mobile service back into Marysville.
The Buxton stay will go through till 4.30pm every Tuesday.
they are also planning a Narbethong day at some stage. We'll keep you posted.

I have to stay low, and very quiet for a while, but am looking forward to seeing everyone again.

Hugs and Kisses to everybody.
John

Hello John. Sorry to hear about your trees and vines. Are you able to post from home at this stage? I'm afraid I have very little idea of how Taggerty is faring.
I think Narby would really appreciate the Mobile making a visit.
Great to hear from you again.

I suppose we won't know about the trees and vines for some time. A nice drenching with rain right now would certainly help. The saddest thing of all for me is that it looks as though I'll loose my lemon tree. S**t!!!

Yes Lisa, I am posting from home. Not much to report from the Taggerty side however. The CFA are still alert and god knows we need more .....
Still very smokey, and the smoke from the Blue Range is still ominous.

But Hoorah!!!! the rubbish truck came through at 5.30 am in Acacia Lane. So the world begins to right itself.
(Now, how many DVD's can I watch today??)

Nice to know things are starting to 'normalise'. Funny the little things that make us feel better. I was happy to hear about the rubbish collection in Buxton too! What are you doing for drinking water?

Hi John, glad to know you are on the mend and sorry about the vines and orchard. Any advice on what to do about the Library materials lost in the fire?

Drinking water we are fine. I isolated our supply as soon as the fire seemed imminent.

As for library materials....do not be concerned.
Total amnesty/forgiveness etc. I think youv'e got a really good excuse. I believe you!

So glad you are safe Di,
John
